FOR ANNUAL CITY ELECTION
TO BE HELD APRIL 3, 2012

Notice is hereby given that any qualified person who desires to be a candidate for the following City Office may have his name placed upon the ballot by filing his written declaration of such candidacy for the office, which he seeks, in the office of the City Clerk. The opening filing date is 8:00am on December 13, 2011 and the closing filing date is 5:00p.m., January 17, 2012.
Anyone who is at least 25 years proof age, a citizen of the United States, a resident of the city at the time of and for at least one year next preceding the election, and a voter under the laws and constitution of this state and the ordinances of this city is qualified for the following City Office:
MAYOR - TERM 2 YEARS
Anyone who is at least 21 years of age, a citizen of the United States and an inhabitant and resident of the City for one year next preceding the election, and a resident of the Ward from which he seeks election, and a voter under the laws and constitution of this date and the ordinances of this City, is qualified for the following City Offices:
ALDERMAN FOR WARD I - TERM 2 YEARS
ALDERMAN FOR WARD II - TERM 2 YEARS
